Edge paint
Step-by-step guide
Step 1: Apply the basecoat as first layer and let it dry completely.
Step 2: Lightly sand the surface using a sandpaper or a nail file to eventually remove the imperfections.
Step 3: Apply the colored edge paint as second coat and let it dry completely. This step can be repeated more than once if you would like to achieve a thicker edge.
Step 4: Lightly sand the leather edge with an angled approach to remove eventual imperfection on the edge side and achieve the highest quality. The purpose of this operation is to create a perfect smooth surface before the next application.
Step 5: Proceed with the last application. You can use protecting gloss, metal gloss, iridescent gloss, fluo edge paint or topcoat. Take care to apply it uniformly on the whole leather edge surface.
Step 6: Once you complete the last application you only have to wait for it to dry completely.
